What is Canadian Pre-U program?

CPU is a Canadian-based pre-university programme that’s offered to students before pursuing a degree. It is considered as a Year 12 qualification, which is equivalent to STPM or Malaysian Matriculation (Matrikulasi).

Requirements

Canadian Pre-University requires students to have a minimum of 5 credits (C and above) in SPM, O-Level or equivalent.

Duration

The course is usually 12 to 15 months long. You will take 6 subjects of your choice, and the subjects will be divided across the semesters. Then, you may proceed to your preferred degree. Student can choose either two-semester or three-semester to complete the course.

*Coursework 70% + Final Exam 30%
*Coursework including lab reports, projects, assignments, class tests, presentations, research paper, independent study unit

Grades:
A ( 80% – 100%)
B ( 70% – 79%)
C ( 60% – 69%)
D ( 50% – 59%)
F (Below 50% )
