Computer engineering is an integration between computer science and electronic engineering. In lay man’s term, computer engineering is about building computer hardware. Computer engineers usually work closely with computer scientists. Computer scientists would communicate to computer engineers about their new theories and processes towards a piece of technology, and rely on computer engineers to conceptualize those theories and processes into circuit diagrams showing how various tiny electronic components like diodes, resistors, transistors, capacitors, etc. can be grouped to perform the functions intended. Then, they hand build the piece of technology according to the circuit diagrams; in a way, they are the builders behind every new piece of technology.

  • STPM + Degree (Public University) = 6 years
  • Foundation + Degree = 5 years
  • Diploma + Degree = 5 years
  • A-Levels + Degree = 5.5 years
